Dr. Günter Blobel is a professor at Howard Hughes Medical Institute at The Rockefeller University in New York City, a research medical institution. He received the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his work in protein research. He also serve as Director of Nestle S.A.
Dr. Blobel has been a member of IFF's Board of Directors since 2000 and serves on the Nominating and Governance Committee, which recruits, reviews qualifications of, and recommends nominees to fill Board vacancies and newly created directorships, and monitors and makes recommendations to the Board on corporate governance issues.
