Regulatory Compliance

It is IFF's policy to ensure that our flavors and fragrances are compliant with regulations and safe for their intended use. We invest a great deal of resources in order to ensure that IFF proprietary materials are well-tested and properly registered as required. In addition, our flavor and fragrance formulas are reviewed for compliance with regional/national regulations based on customer-supplied information regarding end-use application and dosage.

The regulatory environment in which we operate is continuously evolving and increasingly complex. As a result, we take a leadership role and work closely with various industry organizations in order to ensure that the flavor and fragrance industry continues to operate as a responsible partner with our customers, governmental agencies and non-governmental organizations.

IFF has invested in data systems, regulatory experts, and compliance tools that allow us to stay up to date on the latest regulations, provide our customers with insight regarding both current and pending regulations, and ultimately supply a product that is suitable for our customers' needs.
