2005 FiFi Awards
IFF received five awards at the Fragrance Foundation’s 33rd Annual FiFi Awards – more than any other fragrance company.
IFF won Technological Breakthrough of the Year with Sensory Perception™, IFF’s micro-encapsulation delivery system for textiles.
PRADA, created by Carlos Benaim and Max and Clement Gavarry, won Women’s Fragrance of the Year in the Luxe category.
Liquid Karl, created by Pascal Gaurin, Bruno Jovanovic and Sandrine Malin, received the award for Men’s Fragrance of the Year, Private Label.
Spirit Antonio Banderas, created by Pierre Wargnye, won Men’s Fragrance of the Year in the Popular Appeal Category.
The Healing Garden in Bloom, created by Yves Cassar, won Women’s Fragrance of the Year in the Popular Appeal category.
The ceremony was held at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Wednesday, April 7, 2005. The evening was hosted by Academy Award-winning actress Marisa Tomei. Actress Katie Holmes and Chairman and CEO of Bloomingdale’s Michael Gould presented the Hall of Fame Award to Carolina Herrera and Arie L. Kopelman, respectively. |
