Developed to bridge the gap between high performance and sustainability, AURIST\u2122 AGC is a\u00a0<strong>readily biodegradable alpha-glucan polysaccharide<\/strong>\u00a0created using IFF\u2019s proprietary\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iff.com\/es\/science\/deb\/\">Designed Enzymatic Biopolymers (DEB)<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We identified a gap in the functional category, particularly within the hair conditioning space, for ingredients that are both high-performing and sustainable. Historically, achieving sustainability often meant compromising on performance. AURIST\u2122 AGC was developed with the belief that formulators should never have to make trade-offs between performance AND sustainability.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unlike conventional conditioning agents, AURIST\u2122 AGC offers&nbsp;<strong>transparent formulations<\/strong>, is compatible with a wide range of ingredients, and easy to use \u2014 no pH neutralization or pre-mixing required. It\u2019s also cold-processable and ideal for formats like foaming pumps, ensuring a smooth user experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The DEB platform itself is a game-changer. DEB is a biocatalysis process to create new-to-the-world class of alpha-glucan polysaccharides through the enzymatic polymerization of glucose. These alpha-glucan polysaccharides can then be designed and customized to meet desired performance needs and product specifications for specific applications.
