Damian Magill, Ph.D., Senior Scientist II, IFF Health & Biosciences, joined the company in 2019 as leader of the phage research team. He coordinates the global phage technical service as well as the company’s phage research program.

Education

Dr Magill holds a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Queen’s University Belfast where his research centered on genomics, metagenomics, and computational biology applied to understanding Pseudomonas bacteriophages.

Accolades

Damian has continued his research through post-doctoral contracts and has been recognized through numerous contributions to patents and peer-reviewed publications.
