Chief Executive Officer
Erik Fyrwald joined IFF as Chief Executive Officer in February 2024.
Erik brings to IFF more than four decades of executive and operational experience driving innovation and profitable, sustainable growth at leading corporations in the nutrition, agriculture, and chemicals industries.
Previously, he held the role of Chief Executive Officer of Syngenta, where he helped establish Syngenta Group as a leading player in agriculture for global food security, sustainability and regenerative agriculture. During his tenure, he oversaw the company’s acquisition by ChemChina, the formation of the Syngenta Group, and led the business through exponential growth.
Prior to Syngenta, Erik was the Chief Executive Officer of Univar Solutions, a leading global chemical and ingredient distributor and services provider; President of EcoLab, a global leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services; and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nalco, that was acquired by EcoLab in 2011.
Earlier in his career, he held positions of increasing responsibility at DuPont where he focused on strategic planning and leadership of regional and global business units, including two years as head of the DuPont Nutrition and Health BU and five additional years as President of the DuPont Agriculture and Nutrition Division.
Erik has been a member of the Syngenta Board of Directors since 2016. He also has served on the Boards of Directors of Eli Lilly since 2005.
Yuvraj Arora has served as president of the IFF Taste Business Unit and Chief Commercial Officer since January 2025. An award-winning segment leader, he has more than 25 years of experience in the global food and beverage industry with vast experience in brand and category management, product marketing and innovation.
In addition to leading the Taste Division, Yuvraj is responsible for coordinating efforts across IFF for sales and marketing excellence and leads IFF’s brand positioning, enhances tools and infrastructure to enable sales and marketing teams to put the needs of our customers first.
Yuvraj has been with IFF since 2023, and prior to his current role, he held the position of president of Nourish where he oversaw the Company’s largest division, delivering growth in revenue and margins, and led a transformation of the business, leading up to the creation of two business units, Taste and Food Ingredients.
Before joining IFF, Yuvraj spent more than 20 years at Kellogg where he held roles of increasing responsibility, including president, U.S. Categories for Kellogg North America where he led the multi-billion portfolio through a period of significant growth and segment transformation.
Beginning in India, he held roles in marketing and category management. After relocating to the United States, he assumed roles of increasing responsibility in marketing, brand management and general management for the Cereals, Snacking and Salty Snack categories across the country. Additionally, he went on to lead marketing and innovation for the Asia, Middle East and Africa markets while based out of Singapore. At the culmination of his time with Kellogg, he was responsible for leading the U.S. portfolio across six categories.
Yuvraj holds a Bachelor of Technology in Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Calicut and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Delhi, India. He will be based in IFF’s New York headquarters.
Deborah Borg has served as IFF’s Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources and Diversity & Inclusion Officer since August 2022 and in December 2022 assumed leadership of IFF’s corporate communications function. With more than 20 years of experience, she is a leader in human resources, culture, employee engagement and business strategy and outcomes.
Prior to joining IFF, Deb was with the global Agribusiness and Food company, Bunge Limited where she served as Chief Human Resources and Communications Officer since 2016. While at Bunge, she was responsible for people, culture, communications strategy and operations.
Before her time with Bunge, Deborah held a variety of leadership and HR roles in Australia, Switzerland and the U.S. for General Motors and Dow Chemical and oversaw multiple successful employee engagement, M&A integration and talent capacity initiatives. As president of Dow USA, she was responsible for overall business performance, regional business strategy, new business development and external relationships with customers, government organizations and joint-venture partners.
Deborah holds a Bachelor of Business Management in Human Resources and a master’s in training and change management, both from Victoria University, Melbourne Australia.
Michael DeVeau has served as IFF’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since January 1, 2025. An industry veteran, Mike brings a blend of strategic vision and pragmatic execution to drive profitable growth that maximizes shareholder value creation. He is adept at managing large-scale global teams within innovation-driven companies and actions rigorous return-on-investment strategies that supports overall organizational objectives.
Mike has been with IFF since 2009. Prior to his role as CFO, he was SVP, Corporate Finance and Investor Relations where he oversaw the Company’s corporate and divisional financial organization, operations finance and held responsibility for corporate strategy, mergers & acquisitions and investor relations.
During his tenure at IFF, Mike has held multiple senior leadership roles across the global organization, including SVP, Chief Investor Relations & Communications Officer, where he led the Company’s integrated internal and external communications and IR strategy; Divisional CFO, Scent, where he led financial planning, forecasting, analysis, acquisitions and performance management for the Company’s largest division; and Chief Strategy Officer, where he guided a refreshed corporate strategy focused on long-term profitable growth, portfolio development and transformation. Prior to joining IFF, he served in leadership positions in investor relations, finance and corporate development at PepsiCo.
Mike holds a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University and completed the Global Executive Leadership Program at INSEAD.
Ralf Finzel has served as Executive Vice President, Global Operations Officer since November 2022. Mr. Finzel is an award-winning international operations executive with more than three decades leading operations and integrated supply chain management for multinational companies.
Prior to joining IFF, he served as vice president of Integrated Supply Chain for Honeywell International Performance Materials and Technologies Business Group in Houston. He first joined Honeywell in Germany as an operations manager in 1999, and his many successes led to roles of increasing responsibility and scope in Europe and the U.S. Before joining Honeywell, he worked in research and held plant management roles for Hoechst AG.
Ralf is a Six Sigma Black Belt and holds extensive training certifications. He has also published in industry periodicals, such as the Journal of the American Chemical Society and the Journal of Organic Chemistry.
Ralf has a bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate in Chemistry from the University of Würzburg, Germany.
Simon Herriott has served as president of Health & Biosciences (H&B) since 2019 and leads the team in driving top-line growth and operational effectiveness through innovation, market segment intimacy and supply chain development.
Inspired by nature and distinguished by our creativity and innovation, H&B is a leading partner for our customers in bringing sustainable, high-performance solutions to a variety of categories. The portfolio includes solutions for health, food and home from our range of probiotics, cultures and enzymes.
In addition to leading H&B, Simon was also president of the Scent business unit from July 2023 – March 2024 and will continue to focus on leveraging IFF’s world-leading biotechnology into the Scent ingredient portfolio.
In his career with DuPont, he had various leadership positions in industrial biosciences, sustainable solutions and chemical solutions businesses. Prior to DuPont, Simon also held multiple leadership roles at ICI, Zeneca and Avecia in Europe, Asia and North America.
Simon holds a bachelor’s degree in science degree from the University of Durham, UK; a management diploma from INSEAD, Paris; and an international master’s in practicing management from McGill University, Canada. He is based in the Company’s Wilmington, Delaware location in the U.S.
Jennifer Johnson was appointed Executive Vice President, General Counsel of IFF in 2021, where she is responsible for IFF’s global legal and corporate governance affairs. In addition, Dr. Johnson leads the Company’s global compliance and ethics initiatives.
She most recently served as Associate General Counsel at N&B, leading its legal department. She was appointed to this position in 2019 and has driven critical litigation wins, significant changes to N&B’s patent strategy and complex M&A transactions.
Jennifer joined the DuPont legal team in 2013 and has served as Associate General Counsel and Assistant Chief Intellectual Property Counsel for its Industrial Biosciences division before joining N&B. Prior to DuPont, she was a Partner at the law firm of Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, L.L.P.
Jennifer holds a J.D. from the University of Washington and a Ph.D. in Plant Biology from University of California, Berkeley.
President, Scent
Ana Paula Mendonça has served as President of Scent since April 2024. She leads IFF’s industry-leading Scent business unit, which includes fine fragrance, consumer fragrance and fragrance ingredients.
Having joined IFF nearly 30 years ago, Ms. Mendonça previously served as senior vice president of Commercial Excellence where she led the company’s global key account initiative, including IFF’s sales excellence program, commercial analytics, and digital enablement.
Prior to leading Commercial Excellence, she held roles of increasing responsibilities in Scent, namely president of fragrance ingredients and regional general manager of North America for consumer fragrances. Her broad experience extends across category management in fine fragrance, home, fabric, and beauty as well as global marketing, creative design, and product innovation.
Ana Paula completed a Masters in Business Agility Program and Leadership Excellence Through Awareness and Practice at INSEAD and earned a degree in business management from UAM in Sao Paulo. An active IFF Global Inclusion Committee member, she is also the recipient of the 2023 Nancy Poulos Leadership Award from Women in Flavor and Fragrance Commerce, Inc.
Angela Strzelecki leads IFF’s Pharma Solutions division as President, Pharma Solutions. This division includes heritage N&B’s leading portfolio of functional excipients for pharma and dietary supplements and provides specific solutions such as controlled and immediate release dosage formats, soft and hard capsules and alginates for anti-reflux applications. She was appointed in 2021 and is responsible for developing and executing the division’s structure, business processes and strategic direction.
Over a nearly 30-year career with DuPont, Angela has held a variety of leadership positions across the company, including in Nutrition and Health, Corporate M&A, Titanium Technologies, Building Innovations, Corporate Strategy and Performance Coatings.
Angela holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from King’s College, as well as a Ph.D. in Chemistry from The Pennsylvania State University.
Vic Verma is Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer (CIO). He has served IFF’s CIO since 2016. He is responsible for delivering on the company’s global information technology strategy, the digital technology transformation program and overseeing infrastructure, data, application delivery and end user services across the enterprise.
Before joining IFF, Vic served as Vice President of Global Infrastructure Operations at American Express from 2010 to 2016, where he was accountable for global infrastructure operations across the full breadth and lifecycle of technology products. Prior to that role, Vic held several leadership positions at American Express, as well as Vice President, Division CIO and management consulting roles with GlaxoSmithKline, Bristol Myers Squibb and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Viv holds an MBA from The University of Southern California, a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Marshall University and a bachelor’s degree in biochemical engineering from Rutgers University. He currently sits on the advisory board at Rutgers University’s Center for Innovation Education.
Steve Landsman has served as IFF’s Executive Vice President, Business Development since August 2024. Steve has more than 30 years of experience in corporate law and mergers & acquisitions with global agricultural technology and industrial solutions firms.
As EVP of Business Development, he focuses on the corporate M&A strategy and execution, business development and real estate transactions, and works with the legal team on relevant topics.
Prior to joining IFF, he held the positions of general counsel and global head of mergers, acquisitions and integration with Syngenta. Before Syngenta, Steve was general counsel, head of M&A and corporate secretary at Univar, Inc. and Nalco Company.
He holds a bachelor’s and a law degree from the University of Illinois. Steve is also a certified public accountant.
Andy Muller serves as IFF’s President of Food Ingredients.
Andy is an agile specialty ingredients executive with decades of experience as a technical and commercial leader, P&L owner and entrepreneur. He holds a wealth of experience in technology value-capture, integrating innovation and supply chains, and building compelling value proposition for customers. As President of Food Ingredients, he supports IFF’s focus on delivering growth and value through this important business unit.
Prior to joining IFF, Andy most recently held the position of President, Functional Ingredients and Solutions at Corbion. There, he focused on the bakery, meat, dairy, confectionery, and beverage industries, pet food, and Biochemicals.
Andy began his career at Sabores y Fragancias as a fragrance compounder. After numerous R&D and sales roles, he formed his own flavors and fragrances company, which Bush Boake Allen – an IFF heritage company – that was acquired in 2000.
During his career, he spent 12 years with Danisco, later Dupont’s Nutrition & Health business, where he grew the business by expanding organizational capabilities, rationalizing the product portfolio, and refocusing efforts on core end-market applications.
Andy studied Chemistry at the University of Sciences in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He also serves on the board of PureField Ingredients.

Business Experience
Ms. Boor is the Dean of the Graduate School and Vice Provost for Graduate Education at Cornell University. Prior to appointment to her current role on October 1, 2020, Ms. Boor served as the Ronald P. Lynch Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell University since 2010.
Education
Ms. Boor earned a B.S. in Food Science from Cornell University, an M.S. in Food Science from the University of Wisconsin and a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis.
Qualifications
Ms. Boor brings to the Board extensive knowledge of food and beverage science, including expertise in molecular biology, food safety and quality. Until assuming her current role in October 2020, Ms. Boor was responsible for developing and implementing the strategic direction of Cornell’s College of Agriculture and Life Science and made important contributions in food and beverage research.

Mr. Costa has been Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Board of Directors of Eastman Chemical Company since 2014. Since joining Eastman in 2006, he has held a number of executive positions and has been instrumental in developing the strategies, strengthening the capabilities, and building a growth and outcome-oriented culture that have led to the Company’s innovative growth. In 2006, Mr. Costa joined Eastman’s executive team as Chief Marketing Officer and leader of corporate strategy and business development. He was named Executive Vice President and assumed profit and loss responsibilities for the Specialty Plastics and Performance Polymers businesses in addition to his prior responsibilities in 2008. The following year, his role was expanded to lead the specialty products businesses. During this time, he also served as Chief Marketing Officer and had executive responsibility for global integrated supply chain and Eastman’s global innovation and sustainability initiatives. In 2013, Mr. Costa was appointed President of Eastman and served in that position until he became Chief Executive Officer. Before joining Eastman, Mr. Costa was a senior partner with Monitor Group, a global management consulting firm. He played a crucial role in developing Monitor’s techniques in corporate transformations and portfolio management and designing client business and marketing capability building programs.
Mr. Costa earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from University of California, Berkeley and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
Through serving in a number of executive positions at Eastman and being instrumental in developing Eastman’s growth strategies for its businesses, Mr. Costa’s unique knowledge of the opportunities and challenges associated with Eastman, as well as of the chemical industry and various market participants, makes him uniquely qualified to lead and advise the Board of Directors.
Mr. Davidson served as Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of Tyco International from January 2004 to September 2012. In that role, he led financial reporting, internal controls and accounting policies and processes. Mr. Davidson was a member of Tyco’s senior leadership team that established financial integrity, operational excellence and strong ethical practices across Tyco’s global operations. Prior to Tyco, Mr. Davidson was Vice President of audit, risk and compliance for Dell Computer Corporation where he served in several executive roles, including Chief Compliance Officer, Vice President and Corporate Controller and Vice President of Internal Audit. Earlier in his career, he spent 16 years with Eastman Kodak Company where he led the internal audit function and previously served in various accounting and financial leadership roles. Mr. Davidson began his career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen & Co.
Mr. Davidson earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from St. John Fisher College and his MBA in the Executive Development Program at University of Rochester.
Mr. Davidson brings to the Board years of experience overseeing financial reporting, internal controls and developing accounting policies for public companies. He is a Certified Public Accountant with extensive leadership experience across multiple industries. Mr. Davidson also earned the NACD CERT Certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight.
Mr. Ferguson served as President and Chief Executive Officer of TIAA (formerly TIAA-CREF) between 2008 and 2021. Prior to joining TIAA, Mr. Ferguson served as Chairman of Swiss Re America Holding Corporation, a global insurance company, from 2006 to 2008. Mr. Ferguson served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the U.S. Federal Reserve System from 1999 to 2006. He represented the Federal Reserve on several international policy groups and served on key Federal Reserve System committees, including Payment System Oversight, Reserve Bank Operations and Supervision and Regulation. In addition, Mr. Ferguson led the Fed’s initial response on 9/11. From 1984 to 1997, Mr. Ferguson was an associate and partner at McKinsey & Company. Mr. Ferguson became the Steven A. Tananbaum Distinguished Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations during 2021.
Mr. Ferguson received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Magna Cum Laude. He also earned his J.D., Cum Laude and a Ph.D. in Economics all from Harvard University.
Mr. Ferguson brings to our Board his sound business judgment, extensive knowledge of the financial services industry and regulatory experience. We benefit from Mr. Ferguson’s service as Chief Executive Officer of TIAA and his experience as a member of other public company boards, which provides him an enhanced perspective on issues applicable to our company.
Mr. Ferraro was the Global Chief Operating Officer of Ernst & Young, a leading professional services firm, from 2007 to January 2015. In that role, he was responsible for the overall operations and services of Ernst & Young worldwide. Prior to the Global Chief Operating Officer role, Mr. Ferraro served in several leadership positions, including as Global Vice Chair of Audit and as the senior advisory partner on some of the firm’s largest accounts. Mr. Ferraro began his career with Ernst & Young Milwaukee in 1976 and has served a variety of global companies. He has worked in Europe (London and Rome), throughout the Midwest (Chicago, Cleveland and Kansas City) and New York. Mr. Ferraro was the Executive Vice President, Strategy and Sales of Aquilon Energy Services, a software company for the energy industry, from February 2019 to July 2019.
Mr. Ferraro earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Marquette University.
Mr. Ferraro brings to our Board his extensive executive, auditing and accounting experience working with large and global corporations. We benefit from his extensive understanding of global business operations, markets and risks. He also brings his cybersecurity experience based on his past employment position where he supervised the chief information officer and was involved in the development of the company’s cyber practice.
Chief Executive Officer of International Flavors & Fragrances Inc.
Mr. Fyrwald has served as our Chief Executive Officer and a member of our Board of Directors since February 6, 2024. He joined us from Syngenta, where he served as Chief Executive Officer since 2016. Prior to his role at Syngenta, Mr. Fyrwald served as Chief Executive Officer of Univar Solutions from May 2012 until May 2016, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nalco from 2008 until 2011, when Nalco merged with Ecolab Inc. Following the merger, he served as President of Ecolab. Mr. Fyrwald began his career at DuPont starting in 1981. During his 27-years at DuPont, Mr. Fyrwald held a number of positions, including Group Vice President of the Agriculture and Nutrition Division at E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company and Vice President and General Manager of DuPont’s Nutrition and Health Business.
Mr. Fyrwald attended the University of Delaware, where he received a bachelor of science in chemical engineering in 1981. He also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 1998.

From September 2006 until September 2010, Ms. Gold was Chief Executive Officer, President and a director of The Western Union Company, a leader in global money movement and payment services. She was President of Western Union Financial Services, Inc. and Senior Executive Vice President of First Data Corporation, former parent company of The Western Union Company and provider of electronic commerce and payment solutions, from May 2002 to September 2006. Prior to that, Ms. Gold served as Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Excel Communications, Inc., a former telecommunications and e-commerce services provider, from October 1999 to May 2002. From 1998 to 1999, Ms. Gold served as President and CEO of Beaconsfield Group, Inc., a direct selling advisory firm that she founded. Prior to founding Beaconsfield Group, Ms. Gold spent 28 years (from 1970 to 1998) with Avon Products, Inc., a leading global beauty company, in a variety of positions, including as Executive Vice President, Global Direct Selling Development, Senior Vice President and later President of Avon North America, and Senior Vice President & CEO of Avon Canada.
Ms. Gold earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton University in Geography and Economics.
Ms. Gold brings a number of valuable characteristics to our Board, including her extensive international and domestic business experience, her familiarity with the Company’s customer base, her financial expertise and her prior experience as a Chief Executive Officer.
Vince Intrieri is the founder and CEO of VDA Capital Management LLC, a private investment fund established in 2017. Intrieri previously worked for Carl Icahn-related entities in various investment roles from 1998 to 2016, including serving as senior managing director of Icahn Capital LP from 2008 to 2016.
Intrieri is currently a Director of Transocean Ltd, Hertz Global Holdings and Chairman of the Board of Sandridge Energy Inc. His past directorships include Navistar International Corp., Energen Corp., Conduent Inc., Chesapeake Energy Corp., CVR Refining GP LLC, Ferrous Resources Ltd., Forest Laboratories Inc., CVR Energy Inc., Federal-Mogul Holdings Corp., Icahn Enterprises LP, Dynegy Inc., PSC Metals, Motorola Solutions Inc., XO Holdings, National Energy Group, American Railcar Industries, WestPoint Home LLC and Viskase Companies Inc.
Intrieri graduated with distinction from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in accounting in 1984 and was a certified public accountant.
Cynthia “Cindie” Jamison is a seasoned executive with more than two decades of corporate boardroom and financial leadership experience. She currently chairs the boards of Darden Restaurants and Big Lots, and previously chaired Tractor Supply Co.
Before focusing on board service, Jamison was the CFO of AquaSpy, Inc. and held CFO roles at various companies during periods of growth or turnaround. From 1999-2009, she was a managing partner at Tatum LLP, leading the CFO Services practice and overseeing more than 400 CFOs nationally. She also served as CFO or COO for several companies, including eMac, Inc., Cosi, Inc., SurePayroll and Illinois Superconductor.
Her earlier career includes roles at Chart House Enterprises, Allied Domecq Retailing USA, Kraft General Foods and Arthur Andersen LLP.
Jamison is recognized as an expert in financial and economic issues, frequently speaking on topics related to CFOs and board governance. She has been quoted in Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek and The Economist. She is an NACD Board Leadership Fellow named among the NACD D100.
Dr. Mehmood Khan is the CEO of Hevolution Foundation, a first-of-its-kind global non-profit organization with a mission to extend healthy lifespan for people everywhere. Hevolution provides grants and early-stage company investments to incentivize independent research and entrepreneurship in the emerging field of healthspan science. The organization aims to increase the number of safe and effective treatments entering the market, compress the timeline of drug development using the latest tools and technologies, and increase accessibility to therapeutics. Hevolution has committed more than $400 million in grants, partnerships and early-stage biotech investments in just over two years, making it the world’s largest philanthropic healthspan science funder.
Dr. Khan is a member of the Board of Directors of Reckitt Benckiser and the Saudi Research, Development, and Innovation Authority and the Saudi National Biotechnology Strategy Steering Committee.
He previously served as a Chairman of the Visiting Committee on Advanced Technology of the United States’ National Institute of Standards and Technology, and as the Executive Chair of Life Biosciences after serving as the CEO from 2019-2024. Life Biosciences is based in Boston and leverages a platform approach to develop therapeutics that can reverse and prevent multiple age-related conditions.
Prior to this role, Dr. Khan served as PepsiCo’s Vice Chairman and Chief Scientific Officer of Global Research and Development. With net revenues of more than $64 billion in 2018, Dr. Khan oversaw the PepsiCo global Performance with Purpose sustainability initiatives, inspired by the fundamental belief that business success is inextricably linked to the sustainability of the world we share. He led PepsiCo’s research and development efforts, creating breakthrough innovations in food, beverages and nutrition—as well as delivery, packaging and production technology—to capture competitive advantage and drive PepsiCo’s businesses forward.
Prior to joining PepsiCo, Dr. Khan was President of Takeda Global Research & Development Center, overseeing Takeda Pharmaceuticals Company’s worldwide R&D efforts. He was also a faculty member at the Mayo Clinic and Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minn., serving as Director of the Diabetes, Endocrine and Nutritional Trials Unit in the endocrinology division. He also spent nine years leading programs in diabetes, endocrinology, metabolism and nutrition for the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in London, a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology and an Elected Fellow in the Department of Pharmacology at University of Oxford.
Ms. Paláu-Hernández is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hernández Ventures since November 1988, a privately held enterprise involved in Spanish media, business and real estate ventures. In September of 2018, Ms. Paláu-Hernández was nominated to serve as a Representative of the United States of America to the Seventy-third Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations, with the personal Rank of Ambassador. Prior to founding Hernández Ventures, from 1985 to 1988, Ms. Paláu-Hernández was an attorney with the law firm of McCutcheon, Black, Verleger & Shea where she focused on domestic and international business and real estate transactions.
Ms. Paláu-Hernández holds a bachelor’s degree, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of San Diego and a Juris Doctor degree from UCLA School of Law.
Ms. Paláu-Hernández’s legal expertise, consumer insights, and her experience in emerging markets will be invaluable to our Company.
Mr. O’Byrne served as Chief Financial Officer and Director of J Sainsbury plc, the second largest retailer in the United Kingdom, from 2017 until March 2023. He was previously Chief Executive Officer of Poundland Group Limited until December 2016 and held executive roles at Kingfisher plc from 2008 to 2015, including Divisional CEO/Chair UK, China and Turkey, Chief Executive Officer of B&Q UK & Ireland and Group Finance Director. Prior to this, Mr. O’Byrne was Group Finance Director of Dixons Retail plc and European Finance Director of Quaker Oats.
Mr. O’Byrne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Studies from Trinity College Dublin and he has been a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales since 1990.
Mr. O’Byrne is a skilled Chief Financial Officer with extensive board, international and finance experience gained during previous executive and non-executive positions. He applied this knowledge to the Finance, Internal Audit, Investor Relations, Property, Procurement and Strategy functions at Sainsbury’s, driving the performance of the business. He was the Operating Board Sponsor for the LGBT+ inclusion stream within Sainsbury’s.
Ms. Willoughby served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of The Clorox Company, a manufacturer and marketer of consumer and professional products, from 2014 until 2019. She also served as the company’s Senior Vice President and General Manager, Clorox Cleaning Division; Vice President and General Manager, Home Care Products; and Vice President and General Manager, Glad Products, along with several other positions since she was initially hired in 2001. Prior to her career at The Clorox Company, Ms. Willoughby spent nine years with The Procter & Gamble Company, where she held several positions in sales management.
Ms. Willoughby holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from the University of Minnesota and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles Anderson School of Business.
Through serving in a number of executive positions at the Clorox Company and her deep understanding for the unique needs and expectations of our Company’s customers and partners, Ms. Willoughby will be valuable to our Board and management team.
